Trained as a teacher at Saffron Walden Training College, between the years 1886 and 1887. Obtained her full certificate December 15th, 1887.
Worked as a teacher at Herold's Infant School, Bermondsey, from 1877 to 1885.
Also as first assistant Mistress at the Ellen Street Infant School in Hove, Sussex, approx. 1890-91.
Buried in Lewes Cemetery, Sussex.
